4116 SS blade ( 55/50HRC ) 55HRC file bites / 50HRC file skates .
Factory edge was simply rubbish and would not slice paper !
So a 22 deg Guided knife sharpener edge was employed .
Each side of the edge was at different angles ( factory ) , so the factory edge was simply poorly done .

Anyways .. To resharpen the thumb stud needed removal .. Just got in the way big time .. ( Small knife life )
I think this knife needs a NAIL NICK ! Not a thumb stud .

Right , a 200 Roll from the looks of things .
That's average performance .

I did a 80grit wet stone re grind .. The steel did burr rather well , so ?
Will slice rope again to see how the wet stone grinder edge does .

I think the Wraith is capable of being a decent pocket knife if you pick it up cheap enough , and I would love to see this model less thumb stud and with a nail nick .
That thumb stud just gets in the way of sharpening .. This knife is just a little on the small size for a thumb stud ( that' just me )

80 grit re grind ( wet stone grinder ) @ 22 degrees ..
Another 200 Roll ..
So looks like this Wraith is a 200 roller ..
It' not the endo of the world , strops back strong ( so there is that ) .

I did notice skin scrapping off when slicing rope !
So how bushcrafty is the Wraith ?
The front portion of the blade is very crisp and scrapes wood really well .
Does the same for the ferro rod .. Throws ferro a bit here and there but really bites the ferro rod hard .
2nd strike started the gumtree scrapings to burn .

At 100mm closed the knife is on the smaller side . Is relatively light !
So should be very easy to make it part of a small survival kit or fire starting kit .
End of the vid is a little bushcrafty ! ( Scrape wood / scrape ferro / watch gumtree burn )
