Unfortunately my wife is the cheapest woman around. She refuses to spend money on herself, buy jewelry, or even let me buy her jewelry.
Oh wait, nevermind. :) My wife freakin rocks!

Although it does make my justification of buying knives difficult sometimes......
 
I guess I'm pretty lucky as far as my GF goes, she knows I spend more money on visiting her than I do on knives! I think she might even be coming around to liking knives and guns..or at least accepting the fact that I like them and doesn't freak out about em. She's a keeper in my book!
 
I know plenty of men who have that same relation with their wives, you just have to establish it from the beginning.

The thing my wife wanted most, as far as wedding presents go, was a full set of reaaly nice kitchen knives. Not one person who got us a wedding present picked a single knife from the registry. I guess they were afraid of the bad luck:confused:

We both generally spend what we want without discussing it with each other, up to a certain dollar figure. I'd have to buy a lot of knives at once to cross that line.:D

P.S. She now has the kitchen knives she wanted (and the pots and pans, and the mixers, and panini press, and the...at least I eat well:D)
