So I needed to get some new handle material, So I got onto Jantz's site and began ordering a couple things which got me thinking how tired I was of heat treating blades in my forge with my pyrometer and not being able to hold the temps the way I'd like to. We've all been in this position correct? So I bit the bullet and ordered myself a new Evenheat😁 After the whirlwind was over and the order was submitted the checking account is now $1,547.89 lower than yesterday! Guess this is the joy of becoming recently single👍🏻

Did a bit of research a while ago on ovens, it was a 50/50 between the two most popular so I went with the Evenheat, hope I made a good choice! Comments??

It's still cheaper than a girlfriend!!! All jokes aside this knife making thing is expensive. I built my oven but only because I'm too cheap to buy one and I like building things. I will probably buy one one day and It will be an evenheat or a paragon.

been usig my even heat 10 years was my first big spend and all i have replaced on it is the pryometer and i run mostly SS. you will not be working it as hard most the time treatig carbon steels

I've had an evenheat for over 20 years, replaced one element about 10 years ago. works great, I like mine.
I use it mostly for stainless, 1950 degree cycles.
