Hi guys!

Just wanted to share this with you....
Last sunday (the 18th), my wife gave birth to a baby boy!:D:D:D
The little guy hasn't cried yet, but I'm betting it won't be long before it's nonstop all night long;)

well, that's another 2-3 yrs of diaper-changeing to look forward too:rolleyes:

That makes the score: boys 3
girls 0

Congratulations!

I've got two girls, and don't intend to risk a 3rd. I'd love a son, but it just doesn't seem to be in the cards.

Congrats man thats great! 3 boys allright. I have 1 girl, but she's tough, she beats the crap out my nephews her age.

Congrats Jontok! I have one of each...I seem to remember sleeping a couple of years ago! :D -Matt-

Congrats to you and the fambly. I hope all is well, and I hope she's sleeping through the night as soon as possible :D.

Congratulations man... I have a 15 month old that is also my first. I never imagined just how much I would enjoy being a dad. Can't wait till he is old enough to do all the outdoor stuff his old man does.

Congratulations, Jontok!

NEVER
GIVE
UP.

Kids are one of the most underrated things out there. And, hey, they're FUN to make! ;)

They're also the PRIMO excuse for buying six times as many knives as you could otherwise justify (that is, if you have one of you and five kids--modify the numbers to suit your number of kids).

Also, there's not a whole lot more gratifying than the way kids EAT UP being taught survival skills. When I can make time, I'm out in the backyard, teaching them how to build cooking fires, how to cut carefully with knives, hatchets, etc., how to put up shelters. When I can't make time, I still see them out in the yard, building brush shelters. When I REALLY don't have time, I've found I can put in a Ron Hood DVD and they're happy for the duration.

GEC: Congratulations to you, too! Looks like your newest arrival is due about a month after ours.

Thank's to all!

I've occupied the recliner in the livingroom! (the wife and baby got the bedroom)

return of the J.D.:
I've been trying to teach the older two some wildreness-skills. The only thing I'm a little skeptical at, is letting my oldest one use a knife... Not that I'm afraid of injuries, it's just that every time he borrows a knife I can use it for a saw when I get it back:rolleyes: Don't know how he does it!!!!!
His 6yr old brother, on the other hand, is very careful, and never damages either the knife or himself:thumbup:

Congratulations, nothing better than your own children and the joys associated. We have two girls that brighten our lives every day.

+1 on getting sleep. It won't be long before you are pulled into overnight duty as well.
