Ok guy's here ya go the top knife is Full tang ground out of a piece of my own pattern of Damascus i worked on for about 2 year's to get one i would proudly call mine. The steel's are 1084 and 15N20 egde only heat treated by me to 57 or so Rc. I Thought about dressing this knife up with filework but could not bring myself to disturb the flowing pattern seen on the edge of the steel . The wood is Snakewood
The second knife i ground from a piece of high speed steel , soldered a stainless guard on it and put it down for a while , then i made a handle for it and put it down again for a couple more week's Finally my wife asked when i was going to "Finnish" it i said someday so she asked if she could have it to finnish ? ok i said so for 4 day's she hand sanded it to a 1200 grit finnish . Now it is her knife and i only post it to help her . The wood is Curly Maple
Honestly guy's they are both great knives .
