I think I may have gotten a little carried away when it came to sharpening this old Basic 7. 
I wasn't the one doing the removal of metal -- had a machine shop do it for me. Max blade thickness now is 0.1" and it's a slicin' demon. Also considerably lighter-weight than its original 1/4" thickness.
Wasn't sure how the self-applied Busse Buckteeth at the heel of the blade would turn out on this venerable Busse Basic 7. It works, so it looks real pretty to me. :thumbup:
