Working with a natural material like bone you take your chances with the outcome. Bone tends to crack and check which this one did and I didn't notice the amount until I stained the handle. I don't want to break it off and try with a different material so if someone can live with this handle I'm offering at a much reduced price. There is no danger of the handle failing because it is filled with epoxy and I will treat this like all of my knives that there is a lifetime guarantee that if anything fails I will repair or replace the knife.
Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind
Bone handle
