When I was finishing this one I sanded through the guard exposing the slot for the blade. This is in the bottom of the guard and is not especially noticeable but I can't sell it without pointing this out. I hate to break the handle and guard off and start again so if anyone is interested in this, as is, I will take a big discount.

Forged from 3/16 52100 steel
Heat treated and tempered in digitally controlled equipment to Rc 58-60
Flat grind with a machine finish
The clip is not sharpened
Stag handle
Overall length: 11 1/2 inches
Blade: 6 7/8 inches
Leather sheath with a brass button to be worn under a belt or sash

You know... that doesn't look that bad. I doubt many people (other than makers and collectors) would even realize that was an "oops". Someone is going to get a nice deal.
 
This is a great deal. Got the same blade in a wood handle. This is stag folks, and a deal at twice the price.
