Here are some fossil warus oosik sections for hidden tang knives and scales for full tangs. They are all cured. It is best to let them acclimate to your climate before using, a month or two would be fine. I am happy to answer any questions about the stuff or working with it. It is guaranteed to be legal and naturally colored, happiness is guaranteed, if you find you can't use it when you get it in your hands, return it for your purchase price back, please do that within seven days. I take all the normal forms of payment, Paypal, checks, or credit cards over the phone. The prices shown will be plus shipping, I ship using USPS flat rate shipping where I can, I ship anywhere it is legal and charge only the actual shipping charges. You may PM me, email me or call me on the phone (though sometimes I have loud machines running and can't hear it).

Thanks for looking, Mark

Mark, you're killing me today. I'll take #2 on the business end, and #2,5,6 in the middle.

Mark, Nice selection of osic. I have finally reached the saturation point with handle material but I do have a question for you. I had made a trade with a fellow at the Vegas Show in 2005. I traded for several handle size piece of chocolate osic. Unfortunately I never got around to using any of it since my shop burnt to the ground later that same year along with several thousand dollars worth of handle material. I'm thinking the chocolate color was natural. Now I'm wondering if it was natural. Is there a certain area where the dark brown is more common? I have never seen any like it since.

I'll take #3 from the middle section and #10 set of scales please.
---Edit- I'll take #12 scales also please--.
Thanks,
David

Hi Ray, It's very possible that the colors are natural, I have seen them that color. It is a little unusual that they were all the same color, that doesn't happen often. You could be digging in an old midden and have two oosiks right next to each other be completely different colors. I suppose someone could have dyed them. It's very easy to tell if fresh oosiks have been dyed to make them legal for sale because they should show some decomposition as well as color.

Mark, Thanks for the explanation. Looks like your little dicks are moving pretty good......
