OOW hawk

Well I think that it's a nice looking hawk, of course, because I love my RMJ Hawks which this is a blatant copy of.

I do like the idea of the cut out behind the beard, very similar to the RMJ Little Bird that I just received.

I hope that Mr. Johnson makes enough waves to either be compensated for his intellectual property or to make them stop.

Yes, people in the knife business share, borrow, and steal designs all the time- it doesn't make it right even if it is accepted or if it's just to hard to fight.

I agree with the above post and don't think that this will bite into RMJ's business very deeply unless they bring it out at a ridiculously low price. Unfortunately people's morals change drastically when they can save a few hundred bucks.

Police or fire department and what does your department see them primarily being used for?

A Police Department. They will be used for emergency breaching. Once the Calvary shows up there will be realbreacher kits but the Shrikes will be ready when waitings not an option. I've used mine a few times at "work".

Kangee is a production hawk made "over there>' This one should be a lot more. I suspect that RMJ probably gets a bit of a premium over say the normal up to double your manufacturers production costs like in the "discounted" knife retail world, so this one might be a bit less, but not much. Why would you sell it for a lot less? The slab handle RMJ's are what? $425? I wouldn't expect these to go for any less than $350 but that is an uneducated guess. if they were only selling them direct, they could go lower. they are a firearms manufacturer that makes semi-auto versions of light and medium machine guns among other things. They appear to sell hem direct and ship to your FFL. No idea what they are doing here.
What is the price of this compared to a crkt kangee?
