The Umnum is meant to serve the role of a beefy folder in the CRK line. Maybe you'll agree once you've handled yours.

As for "aggressive looking"--you could always put a scary skull bead on the lanyard.

I'm going to agree with this. At least this is how a view my Umnumzaan.

The Umnumzaan should be here in a couple hours and I ended up ordering a large Seb as well so I am pretty excited.

I have some decent hard use knifes I think the CRK I just picked up will be a nice in between, they also might be a little more low profile when I am out and about in the civilized world.

I cant help thinking after seeing and handling some of his fixed blades that Chris might have one tactical folder in his genius head waiting to come out

The Umnumzaan sure looks like a 'tactical' folder to me... whatever that is. It looks scary enough.

Sounds like a Hinderer is wanted from Chris Reeve. I like his current offerings the way they are. Nothing wrong with them IMO. If Chris Reeve designed a knife that is "tacticool" "bada$$" I would be last in line. It is one of the reasons I like Chris Reeve. It is a knife I can use every day, while still being able to go into a suite after a rinse and I use the knife like that.

No thanks on the proposed design.
