Open or close?

Hi Guys,

when I found this knife,



my firs question was: What happens with the Knife if I leave it in the Box half opened? What's with spring an rocker? What is happening with the materials? Or is it better to close it and to open it only on sundays?

As with any spring, the rocker will take a set (bend) if left in that position too long. I would close the knife on weekdays and leave it half open in the box as shown on the weekends.

now my thought is diffrent..
i would open it and leave it open in the box for normal storage
for display i would move it to half with out closing
i have noticed a lot of circle marks on mu fav's so trying to not open and close when i can..
