I ground this knife from 5/32" ATS-34 and heat treated to an Rc 60-61

O.A.L is 10-3/4" , the blade is 5-3/4" double hollow ground , double edged and belt satin finished

Sharpened edges , the top is sharpened back 3-1/8" , the main edge is 5-5/8" .

The blade is 1-1/2" wide at its widest point

Handle is highly figured contoured Cocobolo , oil treated/sealed and buffed .

The sheath is 8-9oz grade A veg tan leather , right hand carry

Wow Jack you outdid yourself on this one. That grind work is fantastic.....it's like a knife within a knife. You must have spent some time working that beauty out.....very well done!

Great score! I have bought a number of Jack's knives, and they are all beautiful as well as functional, too. This one is especially nice.

Jack, that is one fine handsome knife. The look reminds me slightly of one version of a Persian/Afghani/Pashtun knife that I was reading about recently called a Pesh-kabz or Khyber Knife.
