If you remember the Halloween Ganza with the cerakoted AD6. There was examples of different coating on lots of different models. Maybe it’s all different models from this year with Camo coating options.

Watch it be a nuclear meltdown battle grade MOAB. If you're going to eRATicate something you got to bomb 'em.

I think you are correct. This may be the return of SR101

I'm happy to see a return to some SR-101 if that is in the cards. Of course I love me some INFI, but I won't kick 52100+Kryptonite out of bed, either. And I am excited to see what cool new blade Jerry has in store for us at a Swamp Rat price. ;)

I'm certainly a fan of sr101. I gutted and skinned three whole deer without even a strop with my scrapper 5....

Just saying.

Me too. I like infi a lot, but I have to say that my bgtg is usually the knife I pick up when I want to abuse a knife.

St101 is one of my preferred big blade steels. I've chipped a steel fence that merely rolled an edge a little (I thinned the edge down to 20dps on that knife fwiw...had I left the factory edge it probably wouldn't have even dented it a little).

Good steel. Likes to patina from chopping live trees. Takes a sharp edge and doesnt lose it terribly fast. Again, I've thinned my users to 20dps, so I expect a faster edge degradation than a factory blade would experience in order to gain a much deeper cutting edge than factory will provide.

My only real gripe is that it likes to rust a bit if you dont keep it clean, but not nearly as bad as some of my other customs in 1095 attract rust after sweaty all day carry chainsawing.

Maybe it'll be a whole set of nuked SR-101 Beauties up Ganzaaaa style, shipped out before Thanksgiving! Or the Ganza revealed next Wednesday, 1 day before turkey day.
