Yeah, I thought it might be just the way light was reflecting off it. It certainly is a beautiful blade.
 
Lol, every time I walk by it I'm like daaaang....it's far and away the nicest blade I've ever owned. If it weren't for Rollin Thunder id never came close 😆
But, I seriously hear ya on the bankruptcy concern! That's legit! 😃 Rollin Thunder cause of several Chapter 7 cases 😆

The Thunder Rolled in a BIG way yesterday...
This is a real GRAIL for me. I've had a Fat Fusion BM before but, she was coated. I've always wanted a Satin Battle Mistress- she did not disappoint! As a matter of fact, she cut me w/in the first 5 minutes of handling her - I was a little excited 😊 - at any rate, here she is with the rest of the fam. Btw, a Battle Mistress really puts into perspective just how big & awesome a Forsaken Mistress really is.....it's just like the Bossman said, "it could be argued the Forsaken Mistress is just as much MOAB as she is Battle Mistress!" - I couldn't agree more 😎

The Anorexic is really about the perfect all-around size and weight for a large knife I find.

Light and fast yet can hit hard and cut deep like you want, especially since the grind isn't overly thick at the edge. Busse crew did a great job with this one! I've yet to own any other Battle Mistress versions, but I find it hard to imagine they could be any more well-rounded and perfect than this one.

Choke up on that choil and it's super well balanced for lighter work and it won't wear you out and can be used for surprisingly fine tasks.

The blade profile is one of my favorites too. Got the curves in all the right places. Add in that satin finish and it's a top contender for favorite knife in my entire collection and there's a lot of tough competition there! (and that other favorite of yours MacLaren1 MacLaren1 , the SJTAC 7 is also fighting for top spot! Love that thing!)
 
I LOVE that Battle Mistress but, if I had to choose between the two, I'd take that Nuked Forsaken Mistress in a ❤️ beat 😃
And that's saying a lot for me because that Battle Mistress is all you said it was and more. But, dam that Forsaken Mistress- she's a Stone Cold Killer bro 😎
