Opinel EDC/hiker?

Opinels are great for the money. I'd add a SAK{alox scaled} and call ragnar and order a mora 510 it is sex on a stick. oh and while you've got him on the phone order a brusletto balder as the ultimate pocket fixed blade. neat little knife for $17.

Thats going to be picked up this Xmas for sure, how are the blades on these thing? easy to sharpen?

I'm loving all these suggestions - so everybody stop. I already have too many choices and you are just making it more and more difficult to pick one:grumpy::grumpy:

Sorry, I've not tried the Kellam knives. A fellow on another forum got one and likes it. I trust his opinions on knives.

I've been tempted to get one, and now maybe adding a Opinel to the list.
 
Slightly OT: someone should build a plastic-handled Opinel, or maybe a wood handle with plastic pivot bushings.

They're hard to come by now, but there actually were at least two different Opinel-knockoffs sold by major manufacturers, Cold Steel and Kershaw.
