Great apple peelers / picnic knives
I got one incoming! Lol.Opinels? Meh. Give me a Svord Peasant every time. YMMV
They're a LOT bigger than Case peanuts, but not as dense.N°6 with olivewood is my frequent choice when I'm wearing a suit or lightweight pants like linen. It is tiny, but no smaller than a Case peanut.
Zieg
My point exactly! They're a LOT bigger than Case peanuts, but not as dense.
I love Opinels *and* Svords. They are generally my work knives these days, carried in a belt pouch, or more commonly in a clip pouch upright in my back pocket.Opinels? Meh. Give me a Svord Peasant every time. YMMV

Mine had good edges out of the box but when I need to sharpen it, I get it shaving sharp on a fine DMT and then refine it with Arkansas stones (soft, hard, black hard). It will push-cut receipt paper when done correctly. Of course, this is a bit off-topic so... sorry.I need help, I have a Svord mnin peasant, just for the great value, my edge stinks, what can I do to sharpen and make this a good user?
