I was going to stonewash, put a patina on my No.9 carbone and reshape the handle so i tried to remove the pivot pin by putting a nail on it and hitting it with a hammer. It went pretty good but now i am half way and it is stuck :(

Anyone knows a easy way to get it out, or hard way... :)

I had the same exact issue when modding one of my opinels. I just took a pair of pliers and cranked until it eventually came out.

A nail is a poor substitute for a pin punch. Been there before.

Got it out with pliers after some time and force. :)
Bought a dremel and a woodcarving kit not long ago but might gonna look for some pin punches.

Now where did i put my vinegar and rocks...

Here is what I did to mine:

I have taken a few blades out of Opinels and have found that pulling the pin out works better than hammering it out with a punch. Not 100% sure why that is. I think that the hammering spreads the pin out in the hole and tightens it up. Check out this no.6 I made for my daughter.

When I went to school Pluto was still a planet :)

Watch out on the part of the handle where the locking ring hits. If you sand it too far, the ring won't hold the blade in place.

Nice knife, are those inlays?

Mine is finished now, love the way it turned out.
I also made it a drop point and polished the blade but kind of regret that so probally gonna force a patina/stonewash it again.
