Opinel Vengeance.

Been missing my Opinel #8 lately, this made it worse. Of course my new/used Case jackknife is easing the hurt...some. Great story Carl.
 
Can't believe I never stumbled across this riveting, vignette before. Very interesting tale. Opinels have been on the brain recently and seeing this didn't help me any. I can't get enough of the things.
 
Very cool. Posts like this are a big part of why traditionals is my favorite place on the web. Keep up the good work.
 
As always, Carl is a master of his craft, but personally, reading a story about an Opinel being used to slice up a piece of Camembert or salami, rather than some "b*****d", would have been a better start to my day :)

Just got to this one. Another great story. Seems that the Opinel was the original tactical knife after all. Love mine. Thanks Carl.
