Opinion on hest fixed blade

Not likely, DPX said he intends on making D2 and SS versions of the fixed blade.

the folder has a D2 tool steel blade, as for the HEST 2 steel, hasn't been announced yet, can't say I'm not curious...

It appears we were both wrong (he probably changed his plans), his website shows the HEST 1 will be reproduced alongside the HEST 2 in 1095. Hopefully he still wants to make a stainless version.

like i said up before, HEST 1 will be remade in 1095 steel by TOPS, (or at least that was the word at the time) , and the HEST 2 will be some stainless steel, and i think it will be made by Lionsteel also, like the folder
