Opinion on new AFCK D2 blade????

They are using D2 as it is more rust resistant than M2 and thus will not need the BT2 coating... Erm hang on a min...
They will be coating it with :barf: why are they using:barf: , dont they know that:barf: looks really bad when it gets marked? I know:barf: protects the steel, but I just don't think D2 needs a coating of:barf: if looked after properly. Great edge holding though, just not a tough as M2.
