Opinion on the Vanguard

i hate to admit it but i have and it was the electricians knife with the screwdriver wire skining edge.
in useitn it as a driver yuo can hit the back release and it will colose on.. happened enught i quit trying to use one...
it is the ONLY buck i dont recomend.
any thing else is wondrfull.

i dug out an 813 workman i have , is that the one you mean dave
it is brown marked 1988 one drop point one straight blade with screwdriver end and one (hawksbill) ?

It is one of the Buckskins, a 529 with "luxurious skin inlay"..Alligator,Oyster Eel,Burgandy Eel, Peanut Brittle Lizard and Black Shark.

Wow, I checked out the mini Vanguard. What a nice little knife. Thanks for mentioning this one, I'd never heard of it until now.:thumbup:
