Now I know that this will stir up a can of worms, but I am just interested in your opinions. if you could only choose three production knife manufacturers for EDC use (folders and fixed), who would they be? Over the years, have tried a bunch, but have pretty muchly gravitated to:

(In no particular order)
Spyderco
Emerson
Zero Tolerance

Let the opinions fly!

Definitely Gerber, Cold Steel, and the Search function. :D

In actuality, my opinions would change quite a bit depending on what you're looking for. Are we concerned with budget? Folding vs fixed I'll have very different opinions as well.

Budget is not a concern, this would be BOTH folders and fixed. Makin' it hard, I know.

Condor, ESEE, and Spyderco for me...I guess. I'm only really certain about the first two. But Mora, Cold Steel, Victorinox, or Case would suffice for the third.

Case, Buck, Spyderco in no order. I will add that any knife maker who produces part or all of their products in the mighty USA gets a purchase from me. Hard to keep my list at three but these came into mind first.

SEMPER-FI TIL I DIE

Just of the brands I've PERSONALLY owned and tested, Cold Steel, Spyderco, Ontario.
I don't care what you think about Cold Steel, they have some strong ass knives!

RKMoore, that's the idea....:D Why I limited it to three and not 5 or 10....

Spyderco is a crowd fave so far, with KaBar not far behind.

Keep 'em coming!

I'd probably have to say ZT/Kershaw, Kabar/Becker, and Spyderco aswell. There's a couple others close behind, but I'd have to say those are my tops at the moment.
