I just noticed this on my beautiful BK24... It is higher on one side from front to back.

Normal tolerance? Flaw? Limited Collector?

it's just the sort of thing that happens on mass-produced hand ground blades. it certainly won't affect performance.

All of the above. Does it work? If yes, then don't sweat it. But that's just an opinion from someone that views Beckers as excellent functional tools.

Limited collector, for sure. They only make about, maybe....3000 of those a year. You are lucky to have one.

Seriously, I've seen that sort of thing (and worse/different) on knives costing quadruple the price of a BK24. Like the others have said: if it cuts....cut with it. If it affects performance, by all means see about a replacement. My guess is it still does what it needs to and you only found that...anomaly...whilst gazing at it fondly and thinking how much you really love that little knife.

pictures or nothing happened :D

WOO-HOO! I knew it! Score!

But yeah, thanks... I do love this knife no doubt about that. I was mostly just asking to see if others would say, "OH yeah, mine is like that." Just a curiosity thing. Thanks for the reply.

Gazing fondly now commencing.

Yep, so far it hasn't affected anything this knife has been asked to do. But as I posted before, this knife will be given the more gentle tasks.

Thanks!

that's unusual in a becker, but not 'bad'.

I think its kinda cool to get something unique. Love that you're not bothered by it. Apparently someone wasn't wearing their glasses that day. Either way, enjoy the knife and use the hell out of it!

I will say that my sharpening efforts on the BK-24 have been less than satisfactory to date. Back to the drawing board.

Im all for the thought process of it may be a less than ideal factory output but unless you are the perfectionist type - use it, abuse it, sharpen it, repeat
