I had a look at my 14 and my 11 and both of them are like yours. I think the 14 is a bit more pronounced but I know it won't affect either of them. I just thought I'd chime in so you'd know that you aren't the only one. Like you, it's not going to bother me in the slightest.

Thanks jcwagers... Yeah, it never really bothered me. Just wondering. It works great and adds character and if it is like a lot of the knives I have seen photos of here, and if I play my cards right with it, it is in a few years going to be even more beautiful.

I hate to come off as all "romantic" about it or anything like that, but that's how I feel. Hot cha chaaaaaaa....

Im all for the thought process of it may be a less than ideal factory output but unless you are the perfectionist type - use it, abuse it, sharpen it, repeat

I used to work for my father. He was a perfectionist. That was the only job I ever quit.
