Opinions, Busse basic 9

Check out the handle before you buy.

I bought two. Returned both.

The handle on all of the Basic 9s I have
seen is not straight, with respect to the
blade. I place the handle on a flat surface
and check to make sure the blade is the same
distance off the surface (for each side of
the handle).

I have mentioned this in a thread in the
Busse forum and Jerry Busse has offered to
replace the handles of these defective knives
at no cost. You won't be out any $, but to
avoid the disappointment, check it first.

This is not a criticism of Busse knives, just
a friendly "heads up".
