Looks damn good, panchO, from both a design and execution standpoint. I like the blade shape, I like the pin layout, and the finish looks excellent. I'm not 100% sure about that carmel micarta yet, but it's starting to grow on me like the James Todd G10 has.

Well done, you should be proud!

Thanks guys. The color reminds me of the old yellow slipjoints of the olden days. I actually like it. I think it would look good on a stockman, or other traditional slippies.

Looks good to me, I love yella handled knives. Kind of strange because I don't care for it on much of anything else.

Pancho thats a clean smooth looking knife! I know alot of people that would be tickled to carry that knife around!

Great job, Mr. Pancho. Those spindly arms of yours actually do some good looking work. The hand finish on the blade looks great. Glad to see you decided to replace the blue tape blade with actual steel. ;)

Very handy looking knife. The shape is very pleasing, and it looks to be a good user.

No Pancho , you are a texas Mexican , and I want that knife , will you give it to me ? Very nice . Was it just the pic where the handle looks uneven at the end of the tang ? Does not matter , I still want it , PM me and I will give you my address , it will be a tax deductable contribution . :)

I really like the clean, purposeful look. The exposed tang at the lanyard hole makes so much sense to me in a bushcraft style blade. Do you have a makers mark on the other side?

Jack yes it is the knife from the other thread. Shhhh I don't pay taxes.
Techna I have the makers mark on the otherside. It stamped crooked and the first two letters are half gone after finishing. Guys thanks for the kind words.

Ya know I was pretty exited about this knife while I was finishing it. On friday I stopped by a long time makers shop and was humbled by what I still need to learn. The positive feedback from you veterans makes me feel good about my progress. I look forward to learning more from you guys.

well this post of yours officially blows any hopes I had of selling you another knife right the hell out of the water....great progress bro:thumbup:!!

hey i got this damn anvil but no idea how the heck to package it with out building a crate??? pm me with some idea of what you want me to do...

Andy, band it to a pallet..... or take a small piece of plywood for the floor secure the anvil to it then "build" a box of cardboard or some other stuff around it.

The post office has a 10.5 x 8.5 x 5.5 flat rate box. It doesn't matter what the weight is. Is it bigger than those dimensions?
