Opinions needed on Zamak knife components

Hello all,
Recently I've been experimenting with casting 3D printed parts in the zinc-aluminum alloy known as Zamak. I've read about Zamak razor heads and how they can corrode if the coating is cracked but I'm not sure if this applies here. What are yalls opinions on zinc alloy components on a knife? For example the component I've already cast is a handle spacer with a design on it. Does something made of this alloy make the knife feel cheap? Is it not durable enough?
Thanks for any replies!

Its common used in production knives. In my observation, Mostly guards & pommels. Also parts of cheap folders & automatics.

Aside from the crap knives mentioned, I dont think it creates a "cheapness" provided its used in a suitable for the purpose.
Remember "Shiney Sells", it wont stay polished well.

Zamak has no place in fine cutlery. It is a crap metal that is only good for die casting cheap parts.
