Opinions needed ... Randall or Winkler

Bought my Randall bird and trout in 1985 shortly after l got out of the army. I do not know how many deer it has dressed. It has done about every cutting chore in a camp and has never failed. They have their reputation because they earned it. Go with Radall.

WINKLER.

The older Randal knives were great! Unfortunately I have seen a few new ones where the quality doesn't seem to be there.

Based on what exactly?

Just asking, not trying to be confrontational, but that's a blanket statement that deserves some clarification.

Winkler to use, Randall to look at (among other things, those big double guards are really going to get in the way for almost all uses).

Life is too short - buy one of each and live on ramen noodles for a month or so. : )

Tough call I have used the heck out of my Randall model 16 and model 28. Winklers are nice as well. Hold em side by side and compare(if that's possible).
