Does ceramic blades do the job as a pocket knife in an office?
Cutting rope, opening letters etc.
Nothing harder...
How about resharpening?

Ceramic blades tend to be fairly thick compared to high end steel blades as ceramics are brittle and need a decent cross section to avoid fracture. So while they will handle low stress cutting, a decent steel blade will easily outcut them by a large margin. As for sharpening, it is possible with a diamond or SiC stone.
