Does anyone have opinions of the Protech Avalon with the 4.25" blade?
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
I look every day.I'm of the opinion that I need one![]()
Thanks for the mention! I checked it out and the Avalon looks amazing. I clicked the "find a retailer" tab on the Protech website, and there are NONE in Canada though.
Whaaaa?NONE in Canada
It seems that there are so few choices these days for folders that have a long (4 inch range) piercing clip point blade.Awesome. Has typically excellent Pro-Tech fit & finish, super smooth action, and an old school aesthetic I appreciate with that loooong piercing clip point blade. Despite being a very long knife, it doesn't feel all that large; it carries very nicely.

My favorite style too.A folder with a 4" blade to me is just right for edc. I carry a Benchmade 806 for edc. I really like the Avalon and will probably get one too.

there is one on the exchange as of today, all black.Does anyone have opinions of the Protech Avalon with the 4.25" blade?
I have a ZT0452. It's a great knife but it has a drop point and I would love it if the 0452 had a more narrow pointy clip point.ZT0452![]()
