Opinions on Buck 500 slim line series

I'm interested in hearing about everyone's experiences with this knife line. Especially regarding those with a blade length well under 3 in. I like my 532 but I would like something a little smaller for an EDC pocket knife.

I have two 501s, an old micarta-handled one that I got in the late 70's, and a master series with BG-42 blade that my wife got for my birthday a few years back (after some serious hinting). I have been completely satisfied with both. Slim profile for easy carry, the edges are well ground and they cut very well.
 
hi, I carry a 501 stag handled in a William Henry clip sheath . Also have a 503 Prince to drop in my cutoffs around the house.The prince has a couple of neat colored handle inlays in 2001 and 2002.There is also a stag version of the Prince. I'd like to see Buck offer the 501 in some different handles.
