Opinions On Hawkbill Blades

Hey guys. Was just wondering just what you guys think of knives such as the La Griffe and SW Badge Knife.

Would you recommend buying one of these?

I like my La Griffe. It actually makes a neat little utility knife, out of the way and unobtrusive until you need it. Great for opening packages or for cutting string. You can remove the chain and drop it into your pocket.

I'm wearing My La Griffe everyday since I got it.It replaced My old favorite the Livesay WOO.Can't say enough nice things about it.However I can't say anything re: S&W copy.tom.

Don't forget Spyderco Harpy/Merlin. It cuts through ropes like butter. The fact that Hannibal used one only makes me love my Merlin even more, even if his was plain edge!

I wasn't sure I'd like a hawkbill style blade but after a week carrying my Microtech Kestrel I think everyone should have at least one.
