Opinions on Microtech Socom Elite

I have had the Mini Socom Automatic, and shipped many to folks in Iraq, and have yet to have any problems. Then again, I'm not one of those nervouse knife types that sit around all day continually opening and closing their folder. Here is link to both the manual and auto versions. I like the plain edge traditional blade shape. It is plenty aggressive when properly sharpened. I'm sorry to hear so many negatives about Microtech. I have not purchased any new ones or ever had a reason to use their customer service.

If you are looking at Microtechs I would also suggest you take a look at their U.D.T. model. I have good luck with that one.
