I would probably contact CRK and let them know what all was done to the knife to be sure if anything is covered or not.
One of the reasons that I buy CRK is the after sale service so I value that. Others may not.
I sent them an email, but I won't be surprised if it takes them a while to respond given it's the holiday season. I agree with the warranty, I've never sent one in for a spa, i like to let the battle scars show, but I like the comfort of always being covered if I need a blade replacement or any thing fixed.
