Opinions on small vs large.

Large all the way for me. Tried a small , but it felt dinky…. I pull the large out at restaurants all the time, never heard a word, just gotta be half way cool about it. The small will do 99% of the tasks, so it's all preference,,,, one of each for different occasions?

From what you said in your original post, I think you want the large. I prefer smalls for EDC but I like the feel of the large better--love the feel and the balance of my Umnaamzan.

I'm with petrosil; go for the large.
If you get the small you will ask yourself, "why didn't I get the large?" - won't happen with the large.
IMHO the 25 feels larger (wider, more haevy) than the lg 21. You could also get one with a CF scale, that makes it remarkable lighter.
Best advise would be to handle them before you choose - if that's a possibility.
hope this helps

A big knife can do a small knife's job, but a small knife can't do a big knife's job.
The large is a better size knife, unless your hands are tiny, you have legal blade length restrictions, or you wear thin slacks every day.
In jeans or cargos (or in a belt sheath), my 25 is perfect; in office slacks I carry a smaller knife (BM941D2CF).

I carry a large and small. I will switch between a lg. regular and Zaan but always have the small with me. At work I will most always use the small just because for most jobs that is all I need. I love my small and would not be with out it. At home on my small little hobby farm the large gets used more. This is such a hard question to answer. As someone said a large will do the small job but the small with not do the large job. IF you can only have one (and most of the time that is not true) I would get a large (and the CF is a great choice) but save and sell some stuff you have and do not use and get a small. You will never regret the money you spend on a CRK. Make sure you post some pic's when you get your knife.
