Opinions on Stellite 6K

George is older and does not have a web site. He sells mostly at shows and by word of mouth and reputation.

I'm not aware of anyone who regularly handles his knives. I've seen a couple used ones show up on E-bay.

George accepts commissions but I think he prefers to make his own designs. I don't think he makes folders but I could be wrong on that issue.
 
George does make folders. In last years Knives Annual there was a picture of a multi-bladed folder that was all (yea, all) Stellite.

I've known George for many years and credit him with all I know about Stellite.
 
You can almost always find George Young down at the Tipton, Indiana Gun and Knife show. This is really a "hole in the wall" show, but he lives in Kokomo so its only a twenty minute drive. I've seen and handled a couple of his multi-blade folders and must say they are top notch in every way (I believe they were five blade folders). I think he's won several awards, couldn't tell you what though.

George usually attends the Wolverine Knife Show in Novi, Michigan (near Detroit) in January
