Well.. I don't know if anybody else is interested, but I tried this, but did not like the results. It was easy enough to reverse though.
I first unscrewed the non-pivot screw, closest to the pivot. To me, this screw should be facing in the same direction as the other torx screws, so it was my first step. It was easy enough to do, even to take it out, reverse, and screw it back together. now.. all of the torx screw heads were on the same side of the handle (non clip side). Looked good on this side.
On the clip-side now, the smooth bottom of the screw (looks like a rivet, but it's not), is not as flush, as it was on the other side (ie factory side). It still looked good, even if it wasn't flush.
The action still worked, but I noticed a less noticeable click, during lock-up. Also, the action on the lock wasn't as smooth. It was kind of a 2 clicks lock up, instead of just one loud click.
This was enough messing around for me. I reversed it back, happy that I tried it, w/ no damage done. I didn't even really try to reverse the pivot at this point.
Now, it's back the way it came from the factory. 1 loud locking click.
