Dear Striderguys,

I am about to embark on my first Strider and would like to know what you guys think of Strider's model MF-S.. Your inputs are highly appreciated in aiding my procurement of this fine edged tool!

Thank you.

Warmest regards,

Sam

Just picked up a MFS a few weeks ago.

I got mine for hiking/backpacking/etc. because of it's size and ruggedness. I just look for any excuse to put it through its paces...

Get one, you won't be disappointed!

Thanks for the feedback DB1! :D I'm certainly looking forward to aquire this knife! ;)

I have had one for about a year(?) that is used for hunting and camping. I love it each time I use it. Great package- lotsa knife. The new ones are flat ground- even better. I got a stonewash finish that is really cool- kinda like a great tool. The ample belly, drop point and 3/16th stock make it a fine outdoor knife. Its not a chopper, but will split wood all day (a more useful activity). Does any camp chore, not a handy blade for cleaning trout or fileting fish though. Strap a little pouch on the sheath and carry a firestarter kit or SAK there and you are in business. Re-wrap the handle in the Strider wrap and it is cool.
