Opinions on the Scotch dispenser?

I love mine. wear it in a Rainwalker necklace.

It throws well and is alot of fun.

put the edgepro to it and that thin little blade makes a razor!

thats the thing i love about the SD. its small but made of INFI so its bombproof. i havent seen another company make a little guy like this that rivals this piece of INFI. the closest i would guess would be the the other busse skelly knife, cant remember the name... but i like the ergonomics of the SD, personally. and Swamp Rat has the Warden that is nice, but it is made of SR101, not on par with INFI, IMO. great steel, but its not INFI.

i'm going to try one on my pfd this summer while rafting. all i need is a kydex sheath with no teklok
.

here's a pic of my SD in a mashedcat neck scabbard, great retention and pops out in a second.

and on a PFD, works great, and with the teklok it carries horizontal on my belt perfectly!

skunk and chuddy - both of you have awesome pics there of my favorite knife.

Chuddy how much you charge me for a black sheath for the SD?

Skunk - i like your neck rig but i dont carry any kydex sheaths. they end up scratching or wearing the finish if the blade and for some reason that bothers me.

thats fine, thats why they make cows and oil. i have to use kydex when rafting and boating because by knives are always wet. i use kydex in my car trunk, jock box, 4-wheeler box and camp boxes because they get the crap beat out of them.

on the other hand i don't use kydex while hunting or strolling in the woods. leather is quieter, softer and matches my other tan leather goods and looks cool.

there is a reason and season for both and besides, my users are already scratched to hell

ps: there's .020 clearance built into the mashedcat sheath i bought, retention is strictly on the handles, no scratching yet but we will see.

good point man.. i need to stop treating all my SD's like girls and get them some use... after all they are made of INFI. what was i thinking...

oh, and one more thing, i requested that my sheath be made of "free ranging" kydex, not that i'm part of the sierra club or petk (people for the ethical treatment of kydex) i just think the free ranging kydex is tougher and has more character.

Kydex actually comes from the nauga, the same creature whose skin is used to make naugahyde.

Save the nauga!!!

thats good to know, i thought nauga came from the slick spot on a dogs nose. learn sumthin new everyday
