Opinions on the Spartan Blades Akribis?

Love love love the looks of this knife, but what are some opinions from people who have actually had or used one? I need to be sure if I'm spending so much.

It's too thick behind the edge for my taste, but otherwise I really like the Akribis. It's definitely a very high quality knife.

Edit: It may be worth mentioning that I handled a very early model. I can't say for sure whether the thickness bte persists today. It's not particularly thick stock.

It's an excellent knife with high build quality. I don't particularly like the lanyard hole because it increase disproportionally the handle length.
And it's costly.
Bu other than this I really like my Akribis.
