Opinions on waist carry.

What are your opinions about carrying your knife on the inside off the waistband of your pants or boxers. How does this compare to pocket carry?

I carried my Salt 1 IWB of my swimming trunks while playing in the ocean with no issues. This included swimming and body surfing. Then I clipped it to the pocket and promptly lost it while body surfing.

It seems like IWB is less convenient to access and put back (takes two hands for me to put back in place) but it's a little more secure and less noticeable.

Normally I carry everything right front pocket. For IWB a highly corrosion resistant steel would be good.

Being in law enforcement, I was having trouble drawing my Benchmade Auto Striker when I carried it in my usual right side front pocket position, due to where my pistol holster rides. So I have gone to wearing inside the waistband while at work. I have had no problems with retrieval or comfort, give it a try, it might surprise you.

Broadsword what knife you carry?

I think it matters on the type of knives. Fixed are best for IWB carry.

Delica is good for this. I put one infront sometimes. I trust it because its got good blade retention. This way you can use both hands to grab it if needed.
