I have the Wiggy's system. It is way too bulky and heavy for backpacking. If you want synthetic but very compressible (almost as well as down), then check out the Mountain Hardware Ultralamina series. I have the 15F series and it is a warm bag. They also make warmer versions.
I had three bags, the Mountain Hardware Ultralamina 15, Cats meows, and the Superlight Wiggys. I now only have the Ultralamina. The Cats was too tight. I loved the bag just cut very narrow. And I am no fat guy. 5' 9" 168lbs. I did love the construction. Very solid and the zippers worked well it was an overall excellent bag if it were wider I would have it still and the other would be gone. The wiggys is an absolute tank!! YKK #10, heavy nylon, best insulation however lamilite is not his invention it is made by climashield. It is the combat variant. It springs back almost everytime however it is not as compressible and is heavier then other types of synthetics. It is still great stuff. But funny thing is NF cats meow used a variant of climashield. A good one as well! But in the end I kept the Ultralamina. It was lighter and compressed way down!!! It doesnt feel as tough as the others but its size and weight make it much better choice. It is wider then the Cats but not as wide as the SuperLight. If weight and size were not an issue I would do a wiggys all day long and I would do it in a rectangle style instead of a mummy for comfort. I honestly hate mummy style bags. I have a hard time sleeping in them.
