Have you considered a fixed blade? The Becker bk11 and bk14 or Esee Izula and Izula 2 are nice neck knives that are roughly the same size as your folders, and they are not nearly as expensive.

I like full tang knives too but I don't think I can carry them around here

I would but I'm not sure how much of that they allow in here...plus, you'll find them for yourself real fast with a day or two of checking out knives and hanging around here. Honestly you'll learn so much more doing it that way than if I were to name a few for you.
