Opinions please…

There you go proving my point again. No "validation of my thoughts" was requested only opinions of a brass handled knife.

These were opinions about your post.

Well, since all your posts have been about this company, this all strikes me as spam. At the very least you have posted a link to a non-advertising knife retailer, which is against BF rules.

That's my opinion. YMMV.

^What he said.

Here was your reply

True to form the a** hats have to come out to give an opinion that wasn't requested. My apologies if the post is against forum rules (if the moderators see fit to delete it, so be it) but I'm actually sitting in my living room looking at the knife I received as a birthday gift from my mother-in-law contemplating exchanging it for one of the more conventional colors. Hence, the decision on the knife itself is made as I am limited to an exchange only.

Nevermind.

My pic. ;)

That thing looks like a mall ninja special. The lanyard cutout looks like you could barely fir yarn through it. I guess the grind looks ok, but If you like it, thats all that matters.
To answer your question. Brass handle? I would think the reason other makers don't use it is because it's so heavy. Plus I'm pretty sure it doesn't wear very well and needs to be cleaned often.

A little too “brassy” for me. I would trade it in for a model in any of the anodized handle colors. If you traded it in, it sounds like you'd escape the restocking fee--but would they give you (or your MIL) a refund for the difference in model pricing?

Well, if legitimately looking for an opinion, I think it's a knife with no real envisioned purpose. Quality components and processes from what I can see, but designed with the blind intention to sell as a product rather than use as a function-driven tool. This is a common thing in the knife market today, unfortunately, and this is just one of a multitude of such "designed to sell" knives. It'll cut things and it's probably very well made, but it isn't optimized for a particular role, including broad-spectrum utility.

Just my thoughts, though.

I like brass on my lighters but......I'm thinking it'll ding up real bad and that makes me peivish so no.
