Opinions please...Beadblasted or polished

Polished here too. I echo the plain blade sentiments, or at least make a plain blade varient. I am so glad you guys are doing these new models in BG42, I'm eager to handle one.

I will buy one of these if, and ONLY IF:

a. It is POLISHED
b. IT COMES IN PLAIN EDGE

THINK PLAIN... Those serrations RUIN the looks of this otherwise awesome knife.
I do not understand why SOG will not offer a choice here, and on the rest of their knives. Why does it have to be a "special order scenario" or something that "may come along later." It actually costs less in time and tooling to make a plain edged blade, so why aren't there any?

This is total BS if you ask me, and if SOG wants to be a "customer driven company" they had better listen. I have already rejected the Vision and full-sized Tsunami as "knives to get," and the only deciding factor was the non-existence of a plain-edged version of either blade.

Polished or stonewashed before beadblast any day of the week... I also echo the Plain Edge crowd as I've no use for a combo edge.

Cisco Systems isnt a bad company - but I may be open to a change if the offer is reasonable.

Satin, brushed or polished. Bead blasting to me isn't as attractive and it also causes the blade to retain moisture better and, thus, rust and corrode better. BG-42 is a "stainless" steel but not as stainless as some. Take care.
