Opinions Please! (Kabar Dozier Thorn)

Thanks, Ken. I have yet to find a B&M store around these parts - maybe someone will have a Thorn for sale at the gun show this weekend.

I have to post and say that I was a little disappointed in the feel of the knife in my hand. My hands are a little larger, and I tend to carry bigger knives, like large Sebenza, and MT LCC, so that may be the problem. It just seemed too difficult to handle. I still want to get one, but it has moved from the top of the list, to the upper 1/3 of my want-to-buy list. Now, if it had an axis-type lock, I'd have no problem with it. They do have great fit and finish, as well as a superior steel. Like Mo said, it's not for everyone, but everyone should have one:D

Seeing this thread back at the top made me want to know what was happening with this great little knife.

I am proud to say that we have sold 2 out of every 3 that have been shipped from Ka-Bar (if all the other dealers have sold every one that they have gotten).

The tiny handful of people who returned them did so because they thought the knife was too small, only one had been used. None had had a proablem of any kind. We inspect every knife from every vendor and the maker of this knife really have quality control where it should be.

This thread has covered every thing except to tell that if the clip is removed, this is a great knife for pocket carry.

Congratulations to every body who has bought one of these.
