anyone here own one? how does the liner-lock hold up? strong enough? does the lock travel far over the blade? think it's worth the price and does it give you enough bang for the buck? think that's enough questions? you sure? really? guess i should quit now, huh?...thanks.

I have one and it's a great knife...nothing wrong with mine up to now. Of course, it being a liner lock, I only use it for cutting purposes, and the drop-point tanto blade is very sturdy and sharp.
The lock on mine engages in about the center of the tang and hasn't moved any further. I don't carry mine as a defensive weapon, though.
All in all, the Mini-Stryker is my favorite BM knife that I own.

thanks..is the liner-lock titanium? i'll have to e-mail BM with some questions.

Hi Kelt34,
If you ever get problems with the Stryker just send it to Benchmade and they'll repair it for you. My experience is that their warrenty service i very good, I had problems with a AFCK and returned it from Holland to them and got a as new knife back where only the blade was original, the rest they exchanged. The turnover was very quick and I even didn't have to pay the almost $20 airmail shipping costs to Holland.
just my 2 centjes, Bagheera

Benchmade website says they have Ti liners. I have the 905 as a daily carry and really like it. Very smooth action and solid lock up on mine. I like the fact that it is double ground, not chisel ground.

Kelt,

I've got one. I like the style and the liner lock is as good as any on the market. I had problems sharpening the ATS-34 blade. I've had problems in getting it really sharp and then keeping it that way. I have now relegated this knife behind my normal carry, the Kershaw Richochet with 44ov.
