*Opinions please!! Which woods are naturally stable?*

teakwood is durable stuff. i lived in W.maylayisa in 1971. i have handled maybe 10 knives with teak and have been pleased. its durable beautiful stuff. that why it is in demand for boat decking as well as carving etc,
 
Ok, tks for the advice. Actually have quite a lot scraps piled up, some with some nice grain. May think about changing some of the silly pakkawood knives I have. Have also wondered what some of my Strider's would look like with hardwood instead of cord wrap. There is a Thai wood worker I know who does outstanding things.
