Well, guys, I took it apart. And it was a good decision to do it.
I foujnd what I thought, the tang is shortened to less than
a half. But that's not the point.
The handle was glued with a hot glue gun. Everybody knows
that thisa is not a save method. Especially because the drilled
hole was too large and was at least filled wit some pieces of wood.
No form fit at all. Only the rivet fixed the blade in the handle.
What I can do now is to weld on a piece of steel or take an antler and
make an interlocking linkage. Your opinion?

Thank you for the step #1 photo Haebbie,
Jimbo and some of the other folks here said that you can weld on the tang and not harm the blade tempering. If you have that type of skill and equipment, I'd repair the short tang and build your new knife from there. Keep the photos of this project coming!
